Supporting Students’ Holistic Development and Fostering Chinese Culture and Technology Exchange

A major gift to HKUST will expand programs that support students’ holistic development while fostering Chinese culture and technology exchange.

Funding will underwrite mentorship, leadership studios, language immersions and visiting-scholar residencies that bring global peers onto the Clear Water Bay campus.

The initiative sits beside existing cultural calendars — Mid-Autumn Carnival, International Women’s Day, ISA events — that already make HKUST a meeting place of traditions.

Donors and University leaders framed the gift as an investment in graduates who can move fluently between cultures, laboratories and markets.
