HKUST and Indonesia’s Ministry of Higher Education Deepen Partnership with Garuda Scholarship Framework

HKUST and Indonesia’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology have deepened their partnership through the Garuda Scholarship Framework, designed to nurture top-tier talent.

The framework supports outstanding Indonesian students on undergraduate and postgraduate pathways, pairing financial aid with research mentorship and alumni networks.

It builds on a campus community that already includes students of more than 80 nationalities and a tradition of government-backed scholarships from across ASEAN.

University leaders described the agreement as a model for how HKUST partners with ministries to grow a world community of scholars.
